Artesonoro.org is a community online open whose fundamental principle is the liberty —in opposition to the maximum benefit. The innovation is fortified if is shared (everything that is not given is lost), and in that itself center the main value of this project, being moved away of it established institutional and fortifying the common spirit with an important dimension ethics based on the commitment and the cooperation. Different communities in network exist that offer solid guarantees in this sense, and the intention of this project is to act as revitalizing, being joining with them in this guerrilla warfare that is positioned against the neutrality and, at the same time, reflects on the dangers of the technological fundamentalism.
One of the large worries of all the project is the promotion and exploration of the sonorous phenomenon, trying to alleviate the lacks that historically has suffered the study of it listens set against the power of the visual thing. An element subversive exists and uncontrollable in the sonorous middle that has set apart it of the interests of the power, and that is exactly one of the themes of study of this community. Nevertheless, in the last decades we have attended a growing integration between the sonorous thing and the visual thing (sinestésico and multisensorial), a question that also deserves to be observed.

Escoitar.org is a collaborative and open project that tries to deepen and to understand the cultural dynamics and its relation with the sound, whether since the theory or since the activism. Leaving from concepts as auralidad, fonografía or "sonorous landscape", understood in its more extensive sense, this collective work and transdisciplinar (anthropology, contemporary creation, ethnomusicology, history…) pursues the deconstruction of the contemporary ear for what proposes, among others strategies, the elaboration of a sonorous cartography arrived at by consensus and centered in the Spanish territory.
In almost two years of life, Escoitar.org offered numerous workshops and conferences in the context of different encounters, congresses and days. Also it has carried out sonorous actions in some places as the CGAC of Santiago of Compostela, the Circle of Fine Arts of Madrd, the TV of Galicia, the Festival Zemos98 of Seville, etc. At present works in various projects, some in the Spanish environment, like Fonotopías of Galicia: the sounds in danger of extinction, supported by the Consellería of Culture and Sport (Direction Xeral of Creation and Cultural Diffusion), and other as Sonorous Walks with Portable Technology GPS since the research team DX7 Tracker of the faculty of Fine Arts (in development, University of Vigo). It has coordinated events related to the study of the sound as Cartography conferences days ace of it Listens. Sound and Place or the Cycle of movies Audiovisiones, both in the CGAC. Also it has coordinated two publications: "Escoitar org: Audio-HackLAB" (FRAMEWORK, Xunta of Galicia) and "Cartography of it Listens" (CGAC, Xunta of Galicia).
